Click on the leaf icon on the left side panel to view “Projects” within a group. Clicking on a project will expand it on the right side of your screen. Here, you can comment, upvote, or "JOIN" the project.

You can find public projects by navigating to the "Public Groups & Posts" view using the icon with three horizontal lines in the upper left corner --> Public Groups -->Projects.
